建築資材のスタイロフォーム（断熱材）を削ってつくった彫刻シリーズ。
狸、といえばジブリの映画か信楽焼がぱっと思い浮かぶ。前者は丸っこくてデフォルメしてる割にちゃんと獣ぽさも表現されていて流石だなあと思ったり。後者は、よその家の玄関先で置いてあるのを何度も見かけているから妙な親近感がある。そういえば浮世絵でも時々出てくるモチーフだし、意外と住宅街でも遭遇したりする。（鳴き声が猫に似てる）
金玉も特徴の一つなんだけど、今回初彫でそこを再現するのはなにかとハードルが高かったので次回以降に挑戦しようと考えています。
